Meet Liz

I'm truly touched that you're considering allowing me to be part of your journey. As someone who has been shaped by the vibrant and diverse Bay Area, where I grew up, I carry a deep sense of empathy and compassion into my work as a therapist.

When we meet, my hope is that you feel the warmth and support that define my practice. We'll explore your thoughts and feelings together in a way that honors your unique experiences. My approach is all about collaboration and focusing on what you need most, helping you face life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re navigating stress, going through a big life transition, or simply looking to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of connection to heal and transform. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and grow. Life can be tough, but we’ll face those challenges together with understanding and grace. As Brené Brown beautifully puts it, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” I’m here to support you as you show up for yourself.

My Background

I am a proud graduate of San Jose State University and am currently pursuing my graduate studies at Western Seminary, where I’m focusing on advanced counseling techniques. With experience working with veterans and their spouses, particularly in addressing PTSD, I bring both personal insight as a spouse of a veteran and professional expertise to my practice. My background includes guiding individuals through the toughest challenges, from burnout and anxiety to depression, grief, loss, and addiction recovery. With compassion at the heart of my practice, I strive to empower my clients to discover their inner strength and navigate their healing journey with resilience and hope.

Areas of Focus

I am passionate about walking alongside individuals and families through life's challenges, whether you're facing stress, anxiety, depression, or the lasting impact of trauma and PTSD. I’m here to support couples striving to strengthen their bond, as well as children, teens, and young adults navigating their unique paths.

Every person’s journey is different, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques to support your healing and growth.

Fun Facts About Liz

I feel most at peace when I’m out in nature, whether I’m hiking through the hills, walking along the beach, or just soaking in the beauty around me. These moments in the outdoors help me recharge and find balance. Music also holds a special place in my heart—I’m always on the lookout for that perfect song that captures a moment or feeling.

As the spouse of a veteran, family is my world. I cherish every moment with my loved ones; they are my greatest source of joy and inspiration. I’m passionate about self-care and believe that even the smallest acts can make a big difference in our overall well-being. For me, that includes practicing yoga, enjoying time with my husband and our dog, exploring new places, and connecting with new people to hear their stories. I’d love to hear yours—what’s your story?
