Meet Mina

Mina specializes in couples counseling, providing a growth path back to one another in a healthy, loving atmosphere, or in some cases assisting couples to end with the least amount of trauma possible. In the words of Esther Perel, "Most of us will have two or three marriages or committed relationships in our lifetime. Some of us will have them with the same person"

My Background

Mina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters Degree from California Southern University. She earned her B.A. degree from San Jose State University in Business Administration, Management. She is a Certified Relational Life Therapist, Certified HeartSync Minister, and is training as a Life Model Informed Therapist.

She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and was first trained as a Lay Counselor in 1995. Before graduate studies, she worked in church administration, lay counseling, leading "Changes that Heal" groups, and training "How to Hear God's Voice".

Areas of Focus

Mina works with individuals, couples, families, pre-marital and pre-engaged partners. She focuses on relational recovery, communication, conflict resolution, divorce support, low self-esteem, trauma, family of origin issues, grief, loss, codependency, spirituality, and marriage preparation.

Fun Facts About Mina

Mina is an immigrant from the island of Cyprus and has been married since 1998. She has four lovely adult children and relishes time with family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys playing and teaching pickleball and is a lifelong learner in all things psychology, neurology, and spirituality. She believes just by "showing up," you provide a growth opportunity for your life. We show up together to give and receive love from one another and God.
