Meet Mica
I believe we are all created with the ability to heal and flourish under the right conditions. Even though we may feel lost, afraid, and alone and fall into our spiral of avoidance and shame…We are not alone.
I work with my clients as a partner and guide on their individual paths toward healing and growth. Specializing in perception and perspective shifting, I provide an integrative approach (and a little humor and fun as needed) with my clients and believe that each person is unique in their approach toward their own healing journey.
My Background
My previous experience as a certified personal trainer and professional massage therapist has given me a unique understanding of how thoughts and feelings may manifest in our bodies, and through unhelpful patterns of behavior. As a nurturer and healer, I strive to bring this “healing spirit” to all I do. I have extensive experience working with older adults, caregivers, self-image and identity concerns amongst young adults, as well as life, career, and loss transitions for all ages.
Areas of Focus
Areas of Focus: Life Transitions, Stress/Anxiety, Relationships, Body Image Challenges, LGBTQIA+, Trauma resilience, Care-Giver Support (caring for parents/partners/children), Grief & Loss, Work/Life Balance, Self Care, Perception and Perspective Shifting.
Fun Facts About Mica
I have enjoyed living and working in the Bay Area and Central Valley for the past 30 years and have worked in the Tech, Healthcare, and Higher Education sectors during that time. I enjoy traveling, learning, and challenging myself in new ways (and sometimes failing gloriously), stargazing, animals, and nature.
