Meet Jessica
I am passionate about helping people find the freedom to live as their most authentic self. Oftentimes the tension, frustration, or pain we feel comes from old ways of thinking or being that no longer serve us. In our work together, I can guide you to access the parts of yourselves that have the strength, resources, and resiliency we need to endure and overcome our suffering.
My Background
When we are in pain it is easy to feel lost, become discouraged, or lose hope. In our work together, I will hold the space for the big feelings that feel too overwhelming to take on alone. I will provide a place for you to unpack the heaviness and help you reconnect you to parts of yourself that can help lighten the load.
Sometimes our pain can take so much of our focus it can feel difficult to hold onto the joy and lightness in life. In our work together, I would like to partner with you to find a balance between acknowledging pain and making space for joy, love, and hope.
Areas of Focus
I am also passionate about working with teens and children to help develop stronger sense of identity, emotion regulation skills, stress management, and more effective communication skills. In my time as a school counselor (at both high school and elementary level), I have worked with children and teens who struggle with depression, anxiety, academic stress, self-harm, social dynamic concerns, and processing multicultural identity issues.
