Meet Christian

My professional background has primarily been in law enforcement as a first responder for the past 30 years. My journey into the counseling field is both professional and personal. Beyond my formal education, my life experiences have shaped the way I approach counseling. I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that faith, resilience, and strong relationships can have on mental health and well-being.

As a father and husband, I understand the importance of family, marriage, and the pressures of providing and leading. As a first responder, I have personally faced high-stress situations, trauma exposures, and the weight of serving others - giving me a deep empathy for those experiencing anxiety, PTSD, or grief. As a Christian, I have witnessed the transformative power of God's grace in my own life, which compels me to offer compassionate, Christ-centered care to those who are struggling.

I believe that true healing addresses not just the psychological and biological aspects of a person's struggle but also their social and spiritual needs. This means recognizing that while mental health challenges may have clinical explanations, they also often involve matters of purpose, identity, and relationship - with self, others, and God. By integrating my clinical training with biblical truth, I seek to walk alongside individuals in a way that fosters both psychological healing and spiritual renewal.

My Background

I am currently completing my Master's Degree program in MFT / PCC, I have been a law enforcement first responder for the past 30 years and, as such, have collected many experiences which have given me a wide breadth to draw from.

Areas of Focus

Some areas of focus which interest me are those experiencing PTSD and EMDR treatment, CBT, and SFBT. I feel there are many ways one can heal, and it is my goal to assist clients in finding the right strategy that works for them, depending upon the client's needs.
