Meet Beebe

“We’re all just walking each other home.” — Ram Dass

I believe healing and change are possible. My hope is to help clients cultivate resilience while gaining practical tools they can carry with them beyond our sessions. I take a strengths-based approach, honoring each person’s capacity for growth and self-understanding.

I view therapy as a collaborative relationship. My sessions are grounded in evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I enjoy weaving in education and skill-building to help clients better understand themselves (I’m a bit of a nerd in that way). I also enjoy integrating creative modalities such as art, music, and crafts when helpful.

I also take a systems-informed approach, recognizing how family, culture, and social contexts shape our experiences. I recognize that we all heal in community and hope to connect clients to the support they need. Above all, I strive to create a warm, comfortable space where clients feel safe being themselves and supported as they work toward meaningful change. It is a privilege to be able to support clients as they grow and heal.

My Background

I obtained my Master's of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I specialized in understanding how trauma impacts us while gaining knowledge in how we heal. Prior to this, I studied Psychology at Covenant College.

I have worked with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings, including rehabilitation centers, schools, and private practice. Through my professional and personal experiences, I have developed an appreciation for how systems and experiences shape us and the hope we have for healing.

Areas of Focus

I enjoy working with teens and young adults as well as running group sessions. I specialize in understanding the impacts of trauma as well as how we heal and grow from our past. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Fun Facts About Beebe

I enjoy all kinds of crafts, from sewing to knitting to scrapbooking. I also love spending time in nature with my husband. Importantly, I will never miss an opportunity to cozy up with a good book.
