My Background

Christine is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy along with a certificate in Addictions Studies from Western Theological Seminary.

Areas of Focus

She focuses on issues related to addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, codependency, self worth, family of origin, relationships and spirituality. Christine works with both individuals and couples. She has a passion in helping individuals work though codependency, gaining a healthier sense of self and identity. She regularly works with individuals and couples to recover from the affects of substance and/or alcohol addictions, as well as sexual/and or relationship addictions. Christine specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy that helps individuals heal from the affects of trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. Her approach to healing also includes the integration of spirituality.

Christine is also affiliated with the Addiction Recovery Center (ARC) where she does both individual and group counseling with various sex addictions issues, and also works with couples to help rebuild trust and intimacy in their marriage. Her other experiences include teaching codependency classes, volunteering at inpatient Recovery Centers witnessing God help heal and rebuild lives, and participating in the 12-Steps.

Fun Facts About Christine

In the past Christine was an Electrical Engineer for 16 years in the high tech industry. In her leisure time she enjoys working out in martial arts, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
