Meet Ore

Hi, I’m Ore (Aura)! I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique lived experience. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore difficult emotions, better understand themselves, and navigate life’s transitions with greater confidence and self-compassion.

My Background

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a deep curiosity about people, their stories, and the experiences that shape who they become. Before entering the mental health field, I spent several years working in Tech as a Business Analyst, where I developed a passion for understanding people, solving problems, and helping others navigate change.

Over time, I realized that the part of my work I found most meaningful was supporting people through moments of growth, transition, and uncertainty, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in counseling.

I hold a degree in Sociology from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco. I am currently pursuing my second master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University.

Areas of Focus

Born and raised in Nigeria and having lived in Ireland, Canada, and the United States, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. My experiences across cultures have shaped my interest in identity, belonging, and the ways culture and family influence how we understand ourselves and our relationships.

My clinical interests include identity development, self-esteem, perfectionism, high achievement, cultural and family expectations, life transitions, romantic and friendship challenges, ADHD, Stress Management, Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, Spirituality, and Career Counseling.

I am passionate about helping individuals develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion while cultivating more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. I believe growth is rarely linear and that meaningful change happens within a therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Fun Facts About Ore

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy exploring different cultures through food, reading personal development books, and writing inspirational content. I love sharing reflections on relationships, career development, faith, and intentional living. Through storytelling and community building, I hope to inspire others to embrace growth, pursue self-discovery, and celebrate the beauty of a multifaceted life.
