Meet Lauryn

Hi! My name is Lauryn Mankarios, and my therapeutic approach is integrative, which allows me to discover which way works best for you! My goal is to create a safe space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment or fear. I hope to be someone who can help guide you through the complexities life gives us. People have told me I am comforting, warm, and calm. My passion is for people and helping them understand and discover themselves.

My Background

I attended Vanguard University of Southern California for my undergraduate degree. In my time there, I worked with advising college-age students, guiding them through challenges they may experience in college. I have also worked at San Jose State University as a Student Success Specialist, where I also advise students holistically. My professional background has allowed me to gain experience in working with young adults and seeing them as a whole. I have also worked with children from early childhood to fifth grade. My role focused on creating behavioral plans to help students with the transitions in school. I am currently enrolled at the University of San Francisco for my Master's, which has allowed me to create a foundation for my therapeutic approach.

Areas of Focus

I focus on Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, and surviving trauma, as well as any facing issues that are not listed. Therapy is structured on the topics you bring into our sessions, and I am more than happy to help!

Fun Facts About Lauryn

Some fun facts about myself are that I absolutely love baking! Journaling and writing poetry are other passions of mine, as I love to document my thoughts and experiences. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish spending quality time with my loved ones whenever possible. I also enjoy catching a good movie in the theater with my husband.
