Meet Lauren

Our past experiences can influence who we are today, but they don't have to define our future. We all carry personal struggles, whether past or present, that we may choose to keep hidden, but therapy offers a space to share and process them. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process; rather, it’s a collaborative journey where we explore different tools and methods to find what works best for you. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and motivated to live with strength and purpose.

Life can be messy, and it’s easy to feel stuck or misunderstood. I’m here to help you work through those challenges, whether it’s improving communication, rebuilding trust, addressing past wounds, or just finding your own sense of peace within the chaos. Together, we can navigate these challenges and create meaningful change.

My Background

Before becoming an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I worked in ministry, which taught me that we are all navigating life in an imperfect world created by a perfect God. This experience deepened my understanding of the complexities of human relationships, faith, and the need for connection. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be to have someone walk alongside you in moments of struggle and growth, and I’m honored to offer that same support to others in their own journeys.

My background in music allows me to integrate art, creativity, and music into sessions when appropriate, as I believe these outlets can be powerful tools for healing and self-expression. It’s a privilege for me to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they explore their emotional landscapes and work toward growth, healing, and peace.

Areas of Focus

I focus on: anxiety, depression, life transitions, church and religious trauma, spiritual abuse, sexual abuse, family conflict, childhood wounds, pre-marital and couples counseling.
