Meet Joe
I am committed to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they pursue healing, clarity, and renewed connection. My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I believe people grow best in the context of safe and supportive relationships, and I work to create a space where clients can explore challenges without fear or judgment.
My Background
I am currently completing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. Before entering the mental health field, I spent several years coaching, leading teams, and mentoring young adults, which strengthened my passion for helping people move from survival to flourishing. These experiences shaped my relational style and gave me a front-row seat to the impact that burnout, stress, and family dynamics can have on someone’s emotional and spiritual health.
Areas of Focus
I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples experiencing challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, stress and burnout, relational conflict, family-of-origin issues, life transitions, and identity formation. I am especially passionate about supporting clients who want therapy that honors both psychological insight and Christian faith.
In my work, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, and family systems theories, always adapting to the unique needs and goals of each client. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, relational stress, burnout, or life transitions, my goal is to support them in developing practical tools while also attending to the deeper emotional and spiritual layers of their experience. When desired, I am glad to integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process, recognizing the power of spiritual formation in cultivating real and lasting change.
