Meet Claire

Hello! I know that finding a therapist that works for you can be a lot or overwhelming. I hope as you begin to look into therapy or continuing your therapeutic journey that you have grace and know that you are not alone. I desire to help create that safe space where you feel welcome and cared for.

My Background

I have a roundabout way of coming to find that I wanted to be a therapist. I went to Azusa Pacific University and left with a degree in Kinesiology with the hopes of becoming a physical therapist. I graduated and quickly found myself working at churches instead. I have a heart for working with youth, from kindergarten all the way to when they graduate from high school. I grew in this role of working with the youth programs at various churches in the Bay Area. I decided to go back to school in hopes of becoming more equipped in helping others walk through their life, whatever that it holds. I have had the opportunity to work at a high school as a counselor and as a substitute teacher. I enjoy being able to walk with people through what is going on in their life and supporting and help bring healing where it comes.

Areas of Focus

I love to work with kids, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults. I have experience working with these ages and enjoy connecting with them. I have a background in physical therapy and occupational therapy, and have experience seeing the need for therapy for those who experience and have special needs, as well as their families. I have a personal journey with chronic illnesses and have desired to help others who are going through this diagnosis.

Fun Facts About Claire

I enjoy drinking coffee and being outside. I love to hike and bike when I am able! I am also an avid reader and always open for a good book recommendation.
