Meet Anobella
Often, the wounds of our past, particularly those from childhood, can resurface in our lives, manifesting as isolation and fear. My goal is to create a safe space for you, a place where you can feel secure and understood, and equip you with the tools to heal these tender parts. This process allows for the unfinished business of the past to surface and receive the attention it deserves. I work with individual adults, teens, couples, and families, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and identity formation. I also work with couples who are navigating fears and reservations around emotional and physical intimacy.
My Background
My therapeutic approach is a unique blend of Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experiential therapy. CBT, a proven method, helps reframe thought patterns to healthy ones, while experiential therapy aids in experiencing thoughts and emotions in the present moment, leading to a sense of being heard and seen.
Brainspotting is a trauma processing modality. If you find yourself feeling stuck in a feeling, reactions, or trigger responses, or are struggling with depression and anxiety, this may be a valuable tool to accelerate your healing journey.
If you're uncertain or simply have questions, I would be pleased to arrange a complimentary consultation call to discuss your needs further.

My passion lies in helping clients navigate a range of challenges, from communication and conflict resolution to identity, culture, anxiety, and spirituality. I welcome clients who wish to incorporate Christian faith into their therapy.
As a trilingual Bay area resident fluent in English, Assyrian, and Farsi, I am equipped to assist a diverse clientele. I’ve had the privilege to work with a wide range of age groups, K to 50+.
As a former high school Academic Counselor and community college Writing Consultant, my passion for helping individuals navigate the challenges and shifts in their lives motivated my decision to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling at Western Seminary. I enjoy working with teens, couples, and families. My focus on marriage and family relations derived from wanting to learn how to conceptually and tangibly give children, adults, and families the tools to build healthy interpersonal relationships, self-perception, self-awareness, and gratitude.
