Meet Dr. Klindt

Dr. Klindt has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. His mission is to provide compassionate, individualized care to his patients. Dr. Klindt offers a breadth of knowledge and experience in the practice of Psychiatry. He believes in treating the whole person, taking into account the patient's lifestyle, nutrition, family dynamics, spirituality, emotional issues, social issues, as well as neurobiological factors. He will work closely with you to understand and explain your psychiatric diagnosis and come up with an integrative treatment plan that includes psycho-education, natural holistic interventions, medication options, and other treatment modalities that address your specific needs.

My Background

William C. Klindt, M.D., was born and raised in Los Gatos, California. After graduating from Los Gatos High School, Dr. Klindt completed a degree in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, and did post- baccalaureate studies in the Biological sciences, Philosophy, and Symbolic Logic at San Jose State University. 

Dr. Klindt received his medical training in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and returned to California for an Internship and Residency in Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno Affiliated Hospitals program. He then completed a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University. Dr. Klindt also obtained advanced training in Brain SPECT Imaging with Dr. Daniel Amen, M.D., and is one of only a handful of Psychiatrists to have the clinical expertise to interpret a functional Brain SPECT Imaging study as it applies to Psychiatry.

Areas of Focus

Dr. Klindt is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who works with an array of conditions, including Attention Deficit Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar 2 Disorders, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He has been in private practice in the South Bay area for more than 20 years.
