Meet Lacey

Your story matters! And together, we can co-create a narrative that suits the person you desire to be rather than the person you’ve been conditioned to believe you are. Within each person lives the desire for acceptance, love, validation, and community. When those things seem unattainable, are stripped away, or we believe the lie that we do not deserve them, all sorts of behaviors and problems arise. But the good news is that together, we can separate your identity from your problems and help you realign with yourself. I look forward to building a meaningful, collaborative, accountable, and Christ-centered therapeutic relationship.

My Background

I hold a Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide.

I have professional experience working with adult and youth survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, disruptions in their family system, and other forms of relational violence.

Under the cloak of trauma, societal expectations, fear, and limiting beliefs, I believe each person can live a life in alignment with their life’s purpose. Further, each person is the expert in their situation, and my job is to walk alongside you as you recognize what needs to change. My primary theoretical approach integrates narrative, solution-focused, and internal family systems. However, I often borrow from other modalities on a case-by-case situation.

Areas of Focus

I focus on; Sexual and Relational Trauma, Co-dependency, Domestic Violence, and Services for BIPOC Individuals, Couples, and Adolescents.

Fun Facts About Lacey

I have 9 siblings.

I enjoy dancing, reading, writing, and walking in nature in my free time.

My favorite quote is, “My mission in life is not merely to survive but to thrive and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” Dr. Maya Angelou.
