My Background

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a Certified Relational Life Therapist and a Certified HeartSync Minister. I favor Internal Family Systems, the Flash Technique, the Emotional Freedom Technique, CBT, Love and Logic Parenting, and Enneagram discovery. Before graduate studies, I worked in church administration, lay counseling, and couples communication coaching.

Areas of Focus

I work with individuals, couples, families, and premarital partners. I am a person-centered therapist who is passionate about relational recovery. Relational recovery happens through honoring resistance, healing trauma, and building skills. I provide space to check in, listen, normalize ruptures, turn complaints into requests, grow emotional capacity, heal attachments, codependency, and self-esteem, increase joy, and rest in acceptance. I use a variety of evidence-based tools and biblically supported treatment to best fit each client's needs.

Fun Facts About Mina

I immigrated from Cyprus to the US at a young age. I transitioned from Islamic culture to Christianity and recovered from spiritually abusive teaching of the Bill Gothard cult. I have been married since 1998 and have two teens and two young adults. I enjoy free time with family and friends. I have a newfound pickleball addiction, and I geek out on cognitive neuroscience. I am a lifelong learner, and I believe that just by "showing up," you provide a growth opportunity for your life. We show up together to give and receive love from one another and God.
