Meet Liz
I'm genuinely grateful that you're considering allowing me to be part of your journey.
When we meet, my hope is that you feel the warmth and support that define my practice. We'll explore your thoughts and feelings together in a way that honors your unique experiences. My approach is all about collaboration and focusing on what you need most, helping you face life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re navigating stress, going through a big life transition, or simply looking to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
I believe wholeheartedly in the power of connection to heal and transform. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and grow. Life can be tough, but we’ll face those challenges together with understanding and grace. As Brené Brown beautifully puts it, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” I’m here to support you as you show up for yourself.
My Background
As a proud Latina and Bay Area native, I've been shaped by the vibrant, diverse culture of the community I grew up in, and the places life has taken me as the spouse of a veteran. My journey from the Bay Area to other parts of the country has given me a deep sense of empathy and understanding that I bring into my work as a therapist. After nearly a decade of being a ministry leader, I know the immense responsibility that comes with caring for others and creating spaces where people feel truly heard, seen, and valued.
I’ve experienced firsthand the weight that leadership and management can carry. Through my own struggles with balance, self-care, and burnout, I’ve learned just how vital it is to nurture ourselves while we care for others. My heart is to walk alongside you, empowering you to tap into your inner strength as you navigate your healing journey. Together, we’ll work toward resilience, hope, and growth.
Areas of Focus
I'm here to walk beside you through the ups and downs of life, whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, or the deep effects of trauma and PTSD. I’m especially passionate about working with families, couples, children, teens, and young adults as they navigate their own unique journeys and grow into who they’re meant to be.
I truly believe everyone’s experience is personal and different, and I aim to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore the most comfortable and helpful approaches, creating a safe space for healing and personal growth. Whether you’re dealing with burnout, grief, loss, or a major life transition, I bring experience and understanding to guide you through. You don’t have to navigate it alone; we’ll move forward.
Compassion is at the core of everything I do. My hope is for you to feel fully seen, heard, and supported in our work together. No matter what challenges life may bring, we’ll face them together with hope and understanding, always focusing on what you need to move forward in your journey.
Fun Facts About Liz
I feel most at peace when I’m in nature, whether I’m hiking along scenic trails, strolling by the ocean, or simply soaking in the beauty around me. Time outdoors helps me recharge and find balance. Music is another big part of my life, and I’m always searching for the perfect song that captures a feeling or moment.
As the spouse of a veteran, I know firsthand the challenges of military life and the time spent apart. Family is everything to me, and I truly cherish the moments I get to share with my loved ones—they’re my greatest source of joy and inspiration. I’m a big believer in self-care, knowing that even the smallest acts can make a big difference in our well-being. For me, that looks like practicing yoga, spending quality time with my husband and our dog, discovering new places, and meeting new people to hear their stories. I’d love to hear your story—what’s your story? --
