Meet Matt

After spending over a decade as a software engineer, I felt a calling to pivot towards a career in mental health. My own experiences with therapy have deeply impacted my life, showing me the transformative power of understanding, self-reflection, and growth. My passion now lies in aiding others to understand themselves and their relationships better, fostering personal growth and confidence, and establishing healthy boundaries. I believe therapy can be a powerful tool in helping you navigate the complexities of life and show up more as your own authentic self.

Areas of Focus

At the forefront of my practice is a dedication to couples therapy, where I employ a blend of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These evidence-based approaches guide my work, helping couples navigate through challenging times with an emphasis on emotional bonding, understanding attachment styles, and exploring internal dynamics within their relationships.

My approach with couples is rooted in the belief that deep, empathetic connections and a thorough understanding of each other's emotional landscapes are key to overcoming relationship difficulties. I help couples create stronger emotional attachments and address relational distress.

While specializing in couples therapy, I also continue to support individuals facing anxiety, depression, professional stress, and complex relationship dynamics. This facet of my practice is enriched by my focus on couples, as individual challenges are often intertwined with relationship health.

My aim, whether working with individuals or couples, is to foster a safe, nurturing environment. Here, personal growth and relational healing are the goals, empowering my clients to build more fulfilling and harmonious lives.
