Christy Hyun is a licensed marriage and family therapist, church planter, wife and mother of four (2 college students and 2 teenagers). She received her undergraduate education from Boston University and graduate training from Fuller Theological Seminary and Western Seminary. With 19 years of outpatient therapy experience, Christy works with families, couples, and individuals of all ages. Since 2018, she has joined the adjunct faculty with Western Seminary teaching MFT graduate students.
Christy and her husband have been in full-time church ministry since 1998 and have planted two churches. They believe the gospel has the power to heal all things. They are passionate about integration of theology and psychology, and this led them to become founding board members of Oak Health Foundation, an integrative counseling center in Southern California. This passion is what has drawn Christy to join the board of CCC.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, knitting, and spending time with her husband and children.
