We all experience challenges in life, and sometimes the burden can become too difficult to bear alone. If you, your child, or your family is struggling right now, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and living a happier and more fulfilling life. My style of therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
My prior career was in Early Childhood Education, where I spent almost 20 years working up the ranks, from an assistant teacher to owning and directing my own nursery school. It was only natural that I would gravitate toward a specialty in working with children in my new career as a therapist! I do play therapy for children ages 3-10 who are going through a life transition (such as a parental separation or divorce, a move, or bereavement), children with anxiety or behavior challenges, and children who have suffered from trauma. I work closely with parents and caregivers to provide support, coaching, and information on child development. I also enjoy working with adolescents and their families, as well as with individuals.
In my downtime, I love spending time with God, my family, and my friends. I am a lover of all animals, and am blessed to share my life with my two standard poodles, Maizie and Frosty. They take me on many adventures, competing in a variety of dog sports throughout the state.
