For most of us, there are times in our lives when our shoulders feel heavy and we need a place to rest. However heavy the weight you are carrying might feel right now, I want you to know that you don’t have to hold it alone. In therapy, I am here to sit with you, unpack what you’re carrying at your pace, and support you as you examine how you would like to move forward. I am here to hold space for all of who you are and all the parts of your story.
I recognize that you know yourself and your story far better than anyone else. In our work together, I will create an environment where you can process your emotions and experiences, clarify your values, set goals, grow in your self-awareness, and examine your options so that you can make the choices that will be most life-giving for you. Therapy is a space for you to share whatever you choose, knowing that all that you decide to share will be respected and honored. Together, we will discuss tools and sources of support to help lighten the weight on your shoulders so that you can live more fully.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, accruing hours toward licensure. I enjoy working with clients of various ages. I have experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents as well as experience working in elementary schools counseling children. When I am not in the office, I love going to the beach, hiking, reading, and journaling.
