Harmonie Stone is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who has a Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. In her work as a therapist, she has developed a special interest in Anxiety, Trauma, and how they influence the nervous system’s ability to communicate between mind and body.
She believes in using a whole person approach when healing from Anxiety, Trauma and other stressors to the nervous system. By addressing sleep hygiene, nutrition, neuroplasticity, and body’s natural ability to release anxiety and traumatic experiences, Harmonie works with individuals to restore the body to a natural balance with all systems working in congruence. Her passion is working with Dissociation using both EMDR and other somatic processes.
Harmonie is a dedicated mother and wife, and appreciates both nature and the arts. She enjoys bringing her creativity, curiosity, and experience raising a family into her work, as it helps facilitate healing in those with whom she collaborates. Harmonie holds certifications in Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises®, Neurosculpting®, Nutrition, and is an affiliate of Integrated Listening Systems, a program to heal mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Sensory Processing Issues in children and adults.
