Lisa is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary. She enjoys working with people of all ages and is passionate about facilitating growth and healing in the lives of people who are hurting, struggling or experiencing a season of transition. With over 30 years of experience as a pastor’s wife, church staff member, and educator Lisa specializes in working with followers of Christ who want to apply their faith in practical, life-changing ways.
One of her great joys is equipping people and witnessing the transformation as they grow in their experience of grace and truth as unique individuals of great worth. She utilizes a variety of research-based and biblically supported treatment approaches to best fit each client’s needs. These include attachment based EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Mindfulness techniques and Art therapy, proven modalities in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and addictions.
In addition to her work as a therapist, Lisa serves as an adjunct professor for the Western Seminary Counseling program. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, learning new things, and making memories with friends and family (including her 3 adorable grandsons!)
