Elena is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who is currently working towards a Masters in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. She is passionate about connecting with others on a deeper level and appreciates the depth and complexity of the human mind and heart. She finds it a privilege to work alongside clients through life’s many challenges and acknowledges the importance of connecting from a holistic perspective—utilizing an integrative approach, including person-centered and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Prior to joining Christian Counseling Center, her experience includes working with youth and families from diverse populations embodying a strengths-based model to meet their needs. She has a special interest in helping those who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, substance-use, trauma, spiritual issues, and difficult life transitions.
During her free time, Elena enjoys reading, writing, boxing, and incorporating prayer and meditation.
