Henry Ong is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. He is currently in his final year of training working towards a Masters degree in MFT at Western Seminary. Henry comes from a Software Engineering background, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Chico State University. He spent 20 years in the Silicon Valley working as a Software Engineer.

Henry has experience working with clients from different walks and stages of life. He is passionate in helping you resolve difficult issues hindering you from pursuing and living a fruitful and fulfilling life. He seeks to partner with you in working through issues related to family of origin, relationships, codependency, anger, self-esteem/worth, anxiety, depression, and communication. His training and education at Western Seminary not only include the deep and vast areas of counseling, but also in the areas of theology and spirituality. Henry is bilingual in English and Mandarin, and he’s a member of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT).

In his free time, Henry enjoys riding his bicycle and motorcycle, working on home projects, playing the guitar, hiking and exercising.
