How much are you motivated by the joy of living? Does it appear sometimes, as a little sliver in our world, or is your cup overflowing with the happiness of God, Life, and Family? If you struggle with finding that joy; you are not alone. We all bear the burdens of life, feel unloved or alone, or struggle to maintain happiness.

Abel Martinez is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked for 25 years to help people define their personal happiness and joy in life. He is a member of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists and a devout Christian since childhood. Abel graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a BA in Psychology, and also completed his MA in Counseling Psychology with John F. Kennedy University. Abel has worked with people struggling with alcohol and drugs, depression, abuse, being abusive, multi-religious identity struggles, and more recently, being a stranger in a new country. He has more specialization in working traumatized individuals and adolescence with behavioral concerns. Abel’s service to those in need has taught him one thing in life: Goodness is greater than Greatness.
