Kristen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents. Her clinical areas of focus are depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, codependency, self-worth, and relationship issues.
She specifically works with women in transition to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves as well as experience healing. She believes strongly that all people have a desire to grow and that honoring that desire with each and every client will lead to self-acceptance, healing, and change.
Kristen and her husband enjoy working with high school students in a volunteer capacity through their faith community. Kristen also spends her free time cooking, reading, talking about life over a cup of coffee, and taking long walks at the beach.
