Life is a struggle, even more so when we go through life’s most difficult challenges alone. In those moments when we feel a deep sense of hurt, sometimes we turn to something that in the moment provides relief but somehow has now overtaken our life. We become so lost that it becomes hard to tell who we can turn to because no one seems to “get it.” We often hear, “Why can’t you just stop?”.
Roughly 20 million people with the United States actively struggle with addiction, and it can impact every area of our life from our families, our careers, our relationships, and most importantly our sense of who we are. Our past helps shape who we are, but it does not define us. Working in tandem, Bobbi walks alongside you.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. –Chinese Proverb”. Taking the leap to enter therapy can be scary, but healing, hope, and self-love is truly possible!
