Bobbi is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Correctional Psychology. She is expected to graduate in June 2019. Bobbi completed her undergraduate degree at Palo Alto University earning a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Social Action.
The last 3 years Bobbi has worked as a Substance Use Counselor in Santa Clara County. She has experience working in a variety of treatment modalities ranging from residential treatment to outpatient, providing individual and group counseling treatment to adults. Working closely with the criminal justice population as well as marginalized communities, Bobbi strives to provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals to start the next chapter of their life without feeling judged. Bobbi believes our past shapes who we are but understands it does not define us. Bobbi hopes to bring warmth and compassion to each person seeking therapy.
While Bobbi’s area of interest lies in working with individuals who suffer from addiction, she hopes to bridge the gap between addiction and mental health by providing mental health counseling those who suffer from both mental health and substance use disorders.
In Bobbi’s spare time, she is an avid photographer, enjoys live music, and enjoys spending time with her cats, Trinity and Logan.
