Margo is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice since 1975. She is a former teacher and Young Life Co-director. Margo received both her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Margo specializes in working with women’s issues; cancer and chemotherapy; couples; children; adolescents; family systems; adults recovering from addictions; physical, emotional and sexual abuse trauma; post-traumatic stress; depression; anxiety; and issues surrounding blended families.
She has frequently traveled to Central and Eastern Europe training lay leaders and pastors in the techniques of Christian Counseling. Margo has personal experience with issues of personal trauma and pain. Margo had been married 32 years to her husband Wally when he died in a traumatic accident.
